The small brush is a bristle clothes brush, handmade in the UK by Crossman Crafts. They run about $50 aussie and worth it to me.
The larger brush is made of Sri Lankan plantation materials and cost $2 from the Reject Shop. I'm not an expert on medieval brushes, but I believe that once the brand is sanded off it would not raise an eyebrow in the fourteenth century.
